Free Tours for College Students

Beginning January 1, 2011, the Oberlin Heritage Center will not charge admission to Oberlin College and any other college and university students for walk-in tours of the Monroe House (1866), Little Red Schoolhouse (1836) and Jewett House (1884).  Walk-ins are welcome any Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.  All tours begin at the Monroe House (73 1/2 South Professor Street), which is located at the back of the Conservatory of Music parking lot, directly south of the Kohl Jazz Building.  College students should present their current student identification card for free tour admission.  When warmer weather comes, students can also receive a $1 discount on history walks.
