Aug 18 - Voices of the Tribe

August 18 (Tuesday, 7:15  p.m.)  John Mercer, a historian, Olmsted Falls High School teacher, and Ph.D. candidate at Kent State University will present Voices of the Tribe:  Cleveland Indians Broadcasters from the 1920s to the 1990s at Heiser Auditorium,  Kendal at Oberlin.  He'll share little known stories based on his extensive research at the Cleveland Press morgue at Cleveland State University and elsewhere. 

You'll enjoy hearing about all of the Cleveland Indians' major radio voices from the inception of radio broadcasts through the tenure of Tom Hamilton.   Included are legendary figures such as Herb Score, Pinky Hunter, and Tom Manning.  Sit back, and enjoy.  This program is free and open to all.
