April 22-26 Spring Break Camp Session Canceled

March 25-29 or April 22-26

Important! The April 22-26 Camp Session has been canceled due to low enrollment.

Did you know that in colonial America a woman could be accused of witchcraft for having an argument with a neighbor? Or that more soldiers died from disease than from fighting during the American Civil War? Sometimes the past was truly terrible. But it also pushed people to make improvements, for themselves and the world around them. This engaging camp for children ages 8-13 will explore the foul facts of world history, from gross grub to dirty dwellings to mean manners. Not to be focused on the negative, campers will discover how progress can be made and think of creative solutions to problems of the past and present.

Area schools have different breaks, so OHC is offering two weeks of this camp!

Register online and/or fill out the attached registration flyer below and mail to P.O. Box 0455, Oberlin, OH, 44074.
If you register online, you will be contacted and asked to complete a permission form.

Oberlin Heritage Center camps are open to children ages 8 to 13. The camp runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day and will be offered twice to accommodate different school breaks. Camp will be held at the Oberlin Depot (240 South Main Street). The cost is $110 per child ($100 for children/grandchildren of OHC members). Register by March 1 to receive an "early bird" discount of $5 per child. Partial scholarships are available to those who qualify for schools' free or reduced lunch programs.
