Nov 25 - Sharing Stories From Overseas

November 25 (Tuesday, 7:15 p.m.) Sharing Stories from Overseas Being part of a college community offers many opportunities to learn more about people and places around the world - without ever leaving home. This evening, several Heritage Center college student interns take turns acquainting us with their international roots and studies abroad. Among those featured are Hanna Van Reed, a history major from the Philadelphia area, who recently spent a semester studying at Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge in England, and Rand Zalzala, an architecture major from Baghdad, attending Oberlin College with the help of the Iraqi Student Project (ISP), which enables Iraqis to study in American colleges and then take their skills back to help in the rebuilding of Iraqi society. Location: Kendal at Oberlin's Heiser Auditorium.
