August 3 - Family Fun Fair - Jewett Day
August 3 (Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Family Fun Fair is a community tradition featuring free family activities all over downtown with hands-on history fun, lawn games, and mini-tours at the Oberlin Heritage Center. This year, the Heritage Center showcases the Jewett House and its history, its first residents, Frank Fanning and Sarah Frances (Fannie) Gulick Jewett and their ties to other members of the Jewett Family. The Jewett Family of America traces its heritage back to America's first settlers and includes strong ties to abolitionists and the Massachusetts 54th Volunteer Infantry. All welcome!
